Same as the RAW thread. You all seem to think it's a good idea so I made a smackdown thread. Just discuss what happens on smackdown, week in, week out. Remember NO SPOILERS but if you really have to post one, make sure you give everyone a chance to watch the show.

Meh, Smackdown has been alright these past few weeks, and it was pretty decent yesterday. But one thing ruined that show...

The ending to the Angle vs JBL match.

It was actually entertaining. I didn't mind the first interferance by Jordan, and then the second, but the third time when he got JBL DQ just ruined it. Couldn't they have thought of a better ending to the match than that?

Whoever that guy was who said "If you wanna see a good match ruined by its ending, then go watch WWE" was right.

I'd rather absolutely anyone on the roster had the belt over JBL. He's useless in the ring and his backstage antics as 'Taker's 'enforcer' are legendary. Having him as champ send the wrong message to absolutely every young guy in the locker-room

He does a good interview and backstage segment but his wrestling skills are like that of virtually every other big guy - limited/crap

Meh, too be honest, JBL isn't that bad as a Champion.

I'd rather he have it than give it someone that has already had the title not that long ago or doesn't deserve it.

JBL probably didn't deserve it before anyone says so, but he's actually played a good Heel Champion my eyes.

Yeah, it was funny, but it ruined any semblance of realism in his matches. As did the fact he did a backflip when hit with a stunner. As did the fact that he couldn't even figure out you have to cross your opponents legs when putting them in a sharpshooter.

But don't get me started.
