Same as the RAW thread. You all seem to think it's a good idea so I made a smackdown thread. Just discuss what happens on smackdown, week in, week out. Remember NO SPOILERS but if you really have to post one, make sure you give everyone a chance to watch the show.

P.S. Lets keep this different from Your Shout.

Yup, like they were last week as well. I think they'll be going back to the normal sets this week

I believe Raw and Smackdown were filmed on the same day this week, one after the other.

Does anyone know WHY Smackdown are using half of the Raw set?

Speaking of MNM could Nitro have made Mysterio's end moves look any more fake? Constantly looking back to see where Rey was before the 619 and then looking right at him and putting himself in position for dropping the dime. Was woeful, bring Christian York in for him and sack the useless idiot

That truly was a feast of a chair-shot, Kawada. I wonder how JBL reacted to that when he got backstage. Good to see the b.W.o back in action once again, although the only reason they are is because of Meanie and Bradshaw's personal feud. Nice to see the WWE exploiting something that actually has nothing to do with the creative writing team... actually, long may this continue. I'd like more backstage drama introduced to the show, seeing as it means that maybe we won't have to put up with rubbish like the Undertaker & Hassan storyline, or the woeful Mexicools. Get them in the ring, not on the mike, you foolish, clueless morons. The Juice is being well and truly wasted, and it saddens me.

SmackDown itself wasn't too great this week, but compared to Raw it was wonderful. I'd rather watch this week's SmackDown 5 times than have to witness the most poorly created Raw I've quite possibly ever seen even once again.

Great way to get the supposed best in the tag team division over, though. Have Rey Mysterio pretty much defeat them single-handedly. MNM look pretty damn ferocious now, don't they? Oh, wait a minute... if you scan that post you'll probably detect just a smattering of sarcasm. Bah, actually, that's a supreme understatement. The tag team division is a mess, and to be honest this disappoints the hell out of me seeing as they could actually make it pretty damn good if they hadn't split up or fired anyway with good tag abilities.

He (Benoit) performed the Superplex from the top rope to Booker, who got tagged in mid-air by JBL, who then hit a DDT (haha) to Benoit and covered for the 1, 2, 3.

Yeah eliminated by a DDT of all moves!

Expected Benoit to go out with a bigger move than that really

he's a big guy, who manages to keep himself inexpliccibly popular with management. so it's not much WWE bum loving him, it's him bum-loving them and making sure he gives them a reach around at the same time to keep them sweet so they don't notice how sore their ratings are afterwards ;)

yeah, it does seem like the kinda of gibbering rubbish he wrote and used to hammer a few more nails in to WCW's coffin.
