Yup, a canibal family cut up some kids in Texas. Some dude wrote about it and another made a film, and now a remake.

The original is nothing to get excited about these days. Its very slow moving and quite boring. Compared to some of the modern horror fikms (despite being directed and acted supremly better) it doesn't really hold a candle on the horror front.

Still can't beat the original Halloween.

He had a house in Essex I think and he was always within 2 feet of a weapon be it a gun or knife. Very scary man...
