Ok without any biased comment from me. Who's better DeNiro or Pacino?

The only worry is that Pacino seems to be getting better with age (like fine wine) whereas DeNiro is paying for his retirement.

Hedfix i've watched heat. So what's your point? They've both been in movies for 35 years and shared just a couple of scenes.

i've always wanted to see serpico! i might have to buy it. I think they're both excellent it's really hard. I'll go with pacino on the basis that he can be very, very scary in films, whereas deniro has a whimpish charm about him. Too hard to say.

Both done some good...and bad movies

other than the fact they are itailian americans of about the same age why are these two always compared. They play very different roles in very different films so don't think that you can put this in a nutshell type question like this.

i like em both, but deNiro is my favourite

De Niro has done the classics and for me will always be a favourite. The likes of Mean Streets, Casino, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Heat, Ronin, Goodfellas are amongst some of the greatest films of all time. Not too keen on his role in Jackie Brown or some of the modern day comedy attempts but this is all redeemed when I check back thorugh my DVD collection.
