Uh. I always seem to get confused with which on is which!
I'd say Robert DiNiro.

Ah, an even better question - when was the last time either of them made a good film?

I thought Insomnia was good. Not so sure about DeNiro's last good film though, mabye Ronin as I haven't seen one with him in for a while.

I prefer Pacino.
Because De Niro always looks like a stroke-victim. Seriously, go look at stills from Analyse This/that/whatever or Midnight Run.
Pacino has a habit of making his eyes really wide and shouting, but I like that.

Insomnia was excellent, as was The Insider.

Insomnia was indeed excellent.

But it's still hard to choose ...

It's a tough one to call,their careers have followed a similar path to each other.

Both had some cracking roles when they were younger.
Pacino did films like Serpico,Cruising and Dog day afternoon.
De Niro reeled off one memorable performance after another,Taxi Driver,Mean Streets,godfather 2,Raging bull.

Both have slipped into comfortable mainstream roles in recent years,churning out quantity over quality unfortunately.

And both of them have played the Devil,but De Niro edges it for me.

Pacino was good in Insomnia.
I also think they were both great in Heat. Good film with great performances from both parties. However, not much has topped it since. Meet The Parents was the end for me...

I think DeNiro is better than Pacino.
