Now you two seem to know a lot about hip hop and I am a relative newcomer so could you both recommend me some decent albums. I have no real preference to the artist but maybe Redman, Method Man, Xzibit (Only really heard his first song ‘X’ and collaborations on Eminem’s and Dr Dre’s albums and I quite like him), DMX etc.

Any album names and even links from where to buy them would be great.

Oh, and Xzibit - just get Dre 2001.

And DMX - It's Dark and Hell is Hot, or The Great Depression.

Depends what you are after, and what you like.

I'll write a list, but beware that these albums are all almost genres within the genre. There in groups of what genre they are similar to, etc. (So, if you buy one almbum from one group, you'll probably like all the ones in that group)

Method Man/Redman - Blackout
Ghostface Killah - Supreme Clientele
Wu-Tang Clan - 36 Chambers

I'd highly recommend any of these albums

Redman - Malpractice
Redman - Doc's da name
Method Man + Redman - The Blackout
DMX - It's Dark and hell is hot
DMX - Flesh of my flesh, Blood of my Blood

Any of those albums would be a good place to start, not an Xzibit fan though so I don't know jack about him.

PLay.com or Amazon would be the best place to buy them me thinks.
