Now you two seem to know a lot about hip hop and I am a relative newcomer so could you both recommend me some decent albums. I have no real preference to the artist but maybe Redman, Method Man, Xzibit (Only really heard his first song ‘X’ and collaborations on Eminem’s and Dr Dre’s albums and I quite like him), DMX etc.

Any album names and even links from where to buy them would be great.

I got Tical 2000 and it was rubbish so I took it back and got Hip Hop 24/7.

I'm kinda the same there.

There's about 4-5 good songs on Flesh of My Flesh (DMX), but the others on the album really aren't worth listening to. The same goes for about 70% of other albums aswell.

And Random Hero? Try going old school; sooooooo many great albums out of those guys.

I dont really like the whole of any rappers albums.

I just download them all and burn my own megamixes of gangsta rap :)

Eminem - Marshall Mathers LP

His only good album in my opinion - I like it.

You want to get DMX - Flesh of my flesh, blood of my blood or one I'm interested in geting soon is Swizz Beatz's new album, I can't remember what the album is called though, I think it's Ghetto Stories or something like that. I wouldn't reccomend it yet though as I haven't heard it all

Done and dusted. Ordered Redman's 'Malpractise' for £9.99 from Play.com. They also have 'Blackout' at the same price and Xzibit's album 'Restless'. May be buying some more soon.

Well because 'Dirty' and 'Smash Sumthin' are on it and I know I like both those songs I figured the album would follow that stlye, so that swung my choice. I'll order it tomorrow.

And while your about Tilta, Mortal Kombat did arrive yes?

Good choice, both excellent albums but I got a feeling you'll like Malpractice better.

Ah screw Blackout for the moment, I'll go for Redman - Malpractice.

I've got Dre 2001. I think I'll look into Method Man + Redman - The Blackout.
