Yeah, watching a Bond film the other day. The one where he ends up on a bobsled, when the sled flew off into a snow bank I expected it to go BOOM! But it didn’t, I was actually a little disappointed.
Return Of The Living Dead etc - the zombies actually talk to their victims. "Oh, I can smell your brains, they smell so tasty!"
As for "brains..." that's a Simpsons thing, mostly.

Yeah most of these cliches aren't universal.
But the Return of the Living Dead films (I believe there are now 3) have the whole 'brains' thing. There are other but I forget as they were indeed poor.
In addition, any car chase with a mini involved MUST by law have a flight of stairs to bomb down.
