Funniest and Daftest movie cliches please. Here's a few to get you started:

*There's always a truck of hay/pillows just when the hero needs it.

*Bad guys always explain there plans before bungling killing the hero.

*English actors as badguys.

Anyone seen Jason X? What a dissapointment, they say they've tried everything (gassing him, firing squad) but he just wont die. But how come that crappy old robot women kills him with the shotgun by blowing his arms and legs off, and damaging his head? I bet they didn't try cutting his head off either. This film was a comedy, not a sci-fi horror...

Sleeping bag bit is funny though, as is the bit where he freezes that womens face.

The good guy always seems to be able to take down thirty odd bad guys without a hitch, just by standing there shooting at them, even though sometimes they probably haven't even seen a gun before, let alone shoot somone. And James Bond always comes out with the cheesiest comments after he has killed someone, and always has that stupid, smug grin on his face.

Damn that old man in a suit... :|

The bad guy never seems to have to:
sleep
eat
drink
do very much to get fool the police/goodguy

when 8ft vicious aliens are skulking around your spaceship, it is always better to split up and search for it, rather than remain in the safety of a group

During any car chase I always chant "Fruit cart, Fruit cart" as one always appears for the lead car to smash through.

In addition, any car chase with a mini involved MUST by law have a flight of stairs to bomb down.

I blame the Italian Job.

Yeah most of these cliches aren't universal.

But the Return of the Living Dead films (I believe there are now 3) have the whole 'brains' thing. There are other but I forget as they were indeed poor.

Return Of The Living Dead etc - the zombies actually talk to their victims. "Oh, I can smell your brains, they smell so tasty!"

As for "brains..." that's a Simpsons thing, mostly.
