I'm hoping this will turn into a thriving deabte, but I'm doubtful. Basically, its your theory on why the Roman Empire came apart.

At its height, the Roman Empire stretched from Scotland in the northern hemisphere to the deserts of Africa in the south. The empire lasted for over 500 years, although its eastern part, the Byzantine Empire, lasted for several more centuries. When the empire collapsed, hordes of barbarian armies, including the infamous Vandal pirates, invaded Italy throughout the fifth century AD. Rome was transformed from a bustling city of millions to a provincial town of a few thousand, surrounded by swamps. The anarchy of the Dark Ages had begun.

Although there has been no shortage of theories, it has never been clear why Rome became so vulnerable to foreign invaders at this time. Political instability, the collapse of food supplies to Rome, and even the infamous lead in the water supplies have all been implicated. Or maybe Rome just became too big, and could not handle itself properly? I'm asking you your theory on why one of the largest empires came to ruin. Lets go people.

So that's The history of The Roman Empire, The Gulf War (both of them), The Falklands, Pinochet, the nuclear programme of Iraq, the political machinations of concentration camps, Chomsky (Halofan's preferred reading), legislation concerning refugee/immigrants, the inner workings of MI5, The CIA, Brize Norton, the moral and legal quagmire of prostitution, the Balkans, NATO, The UN, Electoral processes in Florida, the civil rights of prisoners held in Camp X-Ray, Afghanistan history, Russia's involvement and subsequent civil wars in pre-Taliban Afghanistan, the methods of The Metropolitan Police in dealing with suspected terrorist threats at airports, goverment policies on funding the education system, the Fireman's Union and their legality in striking...

Anything I've missed?...Your wealth of expert knowledge and resultant multi-thread nitpicking, refusal to entertain opposing viewpoints and blatant running away when proved wrong is staggering.
