Do mobile phones really emit enough radiation to harm you? I'm not really sure about it, but i'd like to find out. Any comments or facts?

The majority of people i see with mobile phones already look braindamaged - prancing about with phones in the middle of the street, and continuous obsession with texting, and then people moan when their phones are snatched...

Then the radiation is being pumped into your leg. Or your balls.

But why? From where?
Unless you've got a wireless network device or something in it I can't see what is going to emit radiation.

What if you have a mobile phone and although you don't use it much for phone calls but have it on most of the day by your leg in a pocket? Since it's not being pressed up against your head and not sending out a signal to another mobile but is getting a signal will does that mean you aren't going to get harmed as badly if at all?

These days everything is bad for you; mobile phones, building tool sheds, over eating...etc

In fact mobile phones do give you cancer/brain tumours. My uncle works for Bt and his job involves measuring the amounts of energy/ radio waves or something coming from certain sources and making sure they comply the safety regulations. In his own tim he did a bit of research on mobile phones and was effectivily able to prove that mobile do emit harmful doses of radiation, but i think it was only when they were used for large periods of time- i can see it now bye-bye market traders and the like! Even so he was threated with his job and told to hand over his findings... now to the ionising properties of radiowaves on calcium...

I don't even own a mobile, so ner ner :P

I think they're a waste of time and when people write in "txt spk" on them, I can't be bothered with it. I'll get one for emergencies when I need one a few years up the road.
