"Crop Circles"

What is your view? Are they messages from aliens, or simply people at night with ropes and planks of wood? In my view, they are just hoaxes. I have a certain respect however for the people who crate these designs, as they are often intricate and awe inspiring. Thoughts?

They're made by professional hoaxers, and some of them are damn impressive.

Personally though, I think that SOME of them are made by aliens, but there are so many proffesional hoaxes around, it's hard to tell. Until they can prove a crop circle is not man made, we will never know.

They make a plan of it, and draw it on paper from a birds-eye-view, with precise and accurate length, width etc. Then they use special cameras on poles to see what it looks like from above.

I was going to post something like this...

Look at todays Daily Mail on page 11 and tell me that those pictures aren't pretty spectacular.

They're absolutely huge and done so perfect it's quite unbelieveable...

I can't see how someone could make something like that without having a birds-eye-view...
