The conjoined Iranian twins, that this morning were reported to have been separated by Singapore surgeons, have both died. Not good, I would imagine.

It's sad. It must have meant a lot to them to be separated for them to put themselves at risk at those odds. I was really hoping it would work out for them. The world could use some good news for a change.

yahoo.com has the story there. Very sad news
Apparently it was right at the end of the op, the surgeons were cutting through one of the last veins connecting them when massive haemoraging occured and they both died of huge blood loss.
