We did, but we were allowed a certain amount of rations. Most of it came in silver foil packets though. Like strawberry and cream pudding in a packet, just add water. That's the kind of nasty stuff I hate.

Nope, I often shop at tesco or somerfield, sometimes at sainsbury's but they're a bit expensive.

It's not the shops own brand stuff I hate, it's the really nasty stuff with no flavour. Nothing wrong with shops own brand products.

Spending a week on an RAF base eating sh*tty beans under a poncho in the pouring rain while people are chasing you through a forest. Not that it made the beans taste any different, but that's when I had them.

I agree. Or are you one of these people who go to Waitrose because they're food is "better"?

Sheer madness. Then again, people like you, Skorp1on, probably keep them in business so keep buying your 50p tins of beans!

Who says it's low quality food?

You pay for the packaging most the time. I buy a lot of Tesco value stuff and it tastes fine, sometimes even better than the more expensive stuff.

Nowt wrong with 7p beans.

Or any value stuff (with exception of meat, and any cleaning products, which are crap)

I'm an apprentice (still) and I would rather be without decent food than beer.
