They arn't good because so many people listen to them, they are good because they are a great band. I can't tell you why they are so good, but I can recommend some songs for you to get. Have you got Audio Galaxy or something similar?

I havn't heard the album, I first heard the song on Fight Club then got it off Audio Gal :D. You are right though, it is an amazing song :).

Across A Wire is brilliant. My favourite song on Disk 1 is either Angels of the Silences or Rain King.
