What a gig last night was, the Spree ruled as always and Mull Historical Society were really good. The Spree were really on top form, although everyone giving them the reception they deserved convinced Tim to do a new song, which ruled, but also made me and my mate miss our train.

It was amazing watching middle aged people skipping through Birmingham town center wearing robes, never seen anything like it.

I also got free drinks in the VIP area and got my very own robe :D.

Ok they go on a bit but they're generally quite entertaining.

I'm jealous of anyone who's seen them live.

They are...weird. I like their ideas though, something fresh in the pre-fabricated world of pop music. They certainly seemed to fit in to Glastonbury quite well.

They seem to be a Marmite band though, you either love them or hate them.

Well... not even worth it. I could say why I love them, and it wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference to what you think, so what's the point.

Maybe if I actually cared what other people liked, I would put some effort into saying what's good about them.

I saw the polyphonic spree on Friday at Brixton, I'm just about recovered now.
