I believe i saw the word billionaire in there! Although hewon't be frivolous we have a SUGAR DADDY.
This bloke is govenor of a dodgy Russian province and is a russian MP, he is also obscenely rich. In a bizarre turn of events ken bates will remain chairman as abramovich's official positions in russia prevent him from taking the job although he'll probably ween some puppet chairman in in good time!
This sounds so bloomin good, we were screwed and now things are looking good. I hope this works out, as there is always a chance it might screw up and then i may kill myself.

Bates has sold all his shares because he thinks he's getting old, but he'll slowly fade away over the next two years, leaving Roman in charge.

Gives us around £200 mil to spend on players now, according to Abrahamovic.

We offered him £1.5 mil a year, it wasnt the money, he wanted his kids to grow up in italy, and we should all respect his decision (once the tears pass.)

Now that would have been funny
I thought he'd sold it all - but that can't be right, if he's still in-charge, can it...?
With a millionaire who just seems "happy" to pay-off a £80m-debt AND around £50m just to get Bates' shares, this has surely got to be good-news for Chelsea and Claudio Ranieri's Summer-spending plans!

Patrick Kluivert's been linked with the club, so, he could be the first.
It's a shame, for them, that this has happened right-after Zola had decided to leave Chelsea... He's a great player - one that the Premiership will miss, dearly. Perhaps things could've been different, had this deal happened only a week earlier?
Heh... One Chelsea guy even reckons that David Beckham would've gone "somewhere else" had the Russian taken-charge a little earlier! :D
Chelsea havnt made a profit since 1998. With loss increasing every year. (-£16M last season)
Although the shares have rocketed now.
Be prepared for a patently precise and unforgiving Chelsea board more interested in maximising revenue than in overall CFAC success.
Zola has really helped Chelsea, and all the fans, heck, and all the fans of English football should be thanking him for his services. That includes his goal for Italy against England. :c)
