6-months-ago, it looked like he was all set to sign, when the transfer window reopened, back in January...
But, for some reason, it didn't. And after what came from the player's mouth himself, it seemed like the young man dubbed "The Next Thierry Henry" would, rediclulously, be prepared to 'snub' any approach from Sir Alex Ferguson, and instead return to his native homeland, once his contract at the Stadium of Light expires.
But here he is... Almost signed-up and ready to be United's first Summer-signing (and hopefully, the first of several!).
Fergie may have "stupidly" (according to 'EVERY' Arsénal fan) passed on the chance to sign Confederations Cup 2003-winner Henry back when he was just a "promising" but in-experienced teenager, in his early-days at Monaco... But with the potential young Bellion has, we could be the ones laughing in several years time, when his true potential begins to show.
....Kind of like we are already, as the `Champions´, yet again!
Who needs David Beckham, eh?
With the way United's Summer-spending appears to be going, life-after-Beckham could really be the greatest thing since Eric Cantona!
I look forward to seeing how Bellion develops... :)

Gallas wears 99, and Riquelme 53 for me on CM4 :D
Due to his age and in-experience, I very-much doubt it will be Andy Cole's still-vacant No.9 one. Although, you never know with Fergie...
