I don't think so... Nintendo have more software houses than Microsoft, and Nintendo have the majority of their own shares so it'll be up to Nintendo what happens to them and not their share holders.
Microsoft and Nintendo collobaration would be a good idea in theory.

I doubt that Nintendo just bought 5.6% of shares back ($798 million) in an attempt to stop such hostile takeovers.
Even in the minute chance it ever happens. I imagine Microsoft pushing for it more than Nintendo.

This would be actually very good... Nintendo get third parties to develop their system anyway with the controller being designed by Nintendo themselves. Expect similar controller design abilities headed by Miyamoto but the system to be developed by Microsoft... which isn't much difference anyway.
As its a partnership I doubt your going to get a lot of Nintendo rushing games... and even if they did all they would do is make it shorter not damage the quality.
This would be a good union... but it would crush Sony as its essentially Nintendo and co, Microsoft and co, and SEGA against Sony.
