Helder Postiga

Never heard of him, but apparently "He is one of the brightest prospects in Europe"

Just checked him out on CM4 and he looks pretty damn good for a 20 yr old.

That happened to Brian McClair and Mark Hughes years ago- too long on the bench, out of practise.

And now Forlan has stopped scoring completely. If this new player will have form that inconsistent, the manager won't be happy...

I think he'll do well straight away, all beacuse he can head well.

I don't think it will matter which club he's playing for, as playing in the Premiership will help unleash the best from this young Portuguese striker - just like it seems to do with almost-every foreign player.

But, at an unsettle side like Spurs, he could take a bit of time before he starts scoring - sort of like Diego Forlan at United, when he first arrived.

Still, I think he'll do well there, in-time.

It would be even more surprising if this happened, Virtuoso:

"What? Dagenham and Redbridge?"
"Well, they're the biggest club in this part of London!"

Being a Spurs fan, I am very excited to see what he can do. I bought him on FIFA, and he is rated 86, the same as Keane. Hopefully we'll get a new midfielder, we have Davies, Redknapp, Poyet, and Ziege, who in my opinion are near world class, but we need someone else.

I admit that Spurs haven't actually got a great midfield, but they have Gusavo Poyet- and he can pass and score- what you need from a midfielder.
