All this is is a commercialisation of that technology, and one which will rely on people buying yet another new phone anyway.
It's not even worthy of any conspiracy theory or even any concern at all, really.
I wonder, how many of those concerned about this, also have a PC with no firewall software or up to date anti-virus software, or simple passwords online ? It'll be a hell of a lot more people than are likely to buy these new phones.
