After the dust settles after the great console war Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft (and maybe even Sega) will stay standing. What next? ready for the next stage of warfare well how about the greatest treaty ever.
Imagine if one console with Microsofts Specs, Nintendo's Controllers and Sony's friendly attitude towards 3rd party developers were to be released. Could you imagine if Zelda, Final fantasy and Shenmue stood side by side. Joanna Dark shaking hands with Lara croft and Mario and Sonic going down the pub together for a friendly drink rather than a bar room brawl.
If there was one console the public would love it. No arguments with their friends everyone would experience great games from all the companys. The quality of games will be forced up and prices will fall. The console could also be upgraded rather than replaced much like a PC and the profits will be split equaly by the 3 (or 4) companys.
The thought of Playing Syphon filter, Sonic, Mario, Shenmue, Zelda, Grand Turismo, Pokemon, Perfect Dark, Final fantasy and House of the Dead all together without having to dish £100+ for an extra console each time is a thrilling prospect.

Because they invented the z trigger the analog stick and the best D-pad around and I didn't say N64 i said Nintendo so a new design unlike the repetetive playstation.
What`s the point in using an N64 controller, they`re hopeless!
You could have a shoot em up with 2 sides one a 3rd person shooter with you as Lara and the other a 1st person shooter where you pay as Joanna and whatever side you play on has either main character as the boss.
Or a deathmatch with characters from all games to choose from such as Pikachu or Sonic or Lara Croft or Logan ect...#

Have a sonic VS mario old-skool platformer, where you choose a side (Nintendo or Sega), and the levels differ depending on your team. So, if you choose to be a Sega guy, you fight through Mario land, taking on Link, the Lylat Wars team, and Luigi, before you get to Mario, the last boss! That would be so cool.
What could we call it? Microsondo... Sonintendoft... X cube station... What do you think
