"Indrema- Why it will fail, but shouldn't"

The big thing about the indrema is that it is open source... anyone can program it- bringing home games coding back! Unlike the Yaroze playstations it won't set u back a few hundred either!

The console (which has been around in the press for over a year for those of u who have only just heard about it!) is targetted at hardcore gamers- a small proportion of the market that buy loads of games. Nice idea.

The reason it will fail is that:
1) It has no marketting
2) No big games developers behind it
3) It'll never beat big names like sony/microsoft.

But the idea of bedroom coding was good though!

Question marks DO work as multipliers in the same way as exclamation marks.

So "Who will win?????" is a more improtant question than "Who will win?"

(Ignoring the fact that there won't actually be an out and out winner, else we're all done for.)

The idea was that ALL the systems code was freely available- see bill gates doing that anytime soon???

All games are coded initially on PC's anyway. Why not just learn C++ using a Web Tutorial, and program your own that way?

Indrema seem to have lost that point, and therefore were doomed to failure before release anyway.
