I've started smoking. I used to have three or four on a night out, social smoking but I bought a pack of 20 on Saturday and I'm addicted. Suggestions.

I smoked heavily for about 3 years, quit recently and didn't actually find it that hard to do.

Though I must admit, I'm gonna miss smoking a fag when I'm down the pub. Alcohol and fags are like a match made in heaven....a very unhealthy heaven, but heaven none the less.

This will sound really cheesy but, no one on this forum will give you a piece of advice that will suddenly “click” for you. The only way you will stop is if you REALLY want to…now you have kept me long enough, I’m of to write more lines for Trisha and Kilroy…

Suggestions?

Smoke the whole packet one after the other and turn yourself into a sickly yellow/green faced man. Then spend the next hour puking your guts up.

Then ask yourself the question: are these things good for me?

On 4th attempt! 3rd time I should have passed! Only smoking on nights out - gonna make ppl rip em up if I don't.

Well that was quick and to the point. But effective.

If your lungs could walk, they'd kick you in the goolies.

I forgot to mention - the test I passed - huge sweeping curve and a road that I could have turned a bus round in one go. I passed my test before the new paper exam thing came in (thank god).

When did you fail? If it's any consolation I failed the first time, tiny road for a 3 point turn and a 90% angle to reverse round a corner - oh, and I ended up being so flustered I tried to drive us under the wheels of a wagon :)

Keep on with the driving. In this day and age I'm not sure whether smoking or driving is more danger to your health but you'll feel better for it. I promise.

I was gonna spend my driving lesson money on cigarettes - I should have passed so I'm despondent over the driving lesson situation.
