Im not usually one to get lots of films but now I just couldnt resist.

I guess he does what quite a few seem to do.

Get rips of games that they would never buy and buy the ones that really appeal to him.
So he gets games he wouldn't have got anyway as a rip.

He definatley aint the only one who does it. Probably one of a few who will admit it though.

The games I get arent the full games, they are DVD-rips.

I dont copy them myself as I dont have the equipment.

If I like the rips, I get the originals. Or if theres a game I know I will like anyway... I just get the original. Like Smackdown 4 and Vice City etc. All the 'smaller' games like Frequency and more unknown ones... ones that just get me interested are copied. If I dont like them I dont play them anymore and definately dont buy the original. Simple as that.

Ok. Let me get this straight.

You pay for the more expensive PS2 games. Yet you pirate the cheaper DVDs.

Logic would seem to suggest that you do indeed pirate your PS2 games as they are more expensive than the DVDs which you already pirate.

I don't see the logic in your pirating DVDs and not pirating PS2 games when you have said you get pirate games to try them out.
