Okay, lets presume I post this on 200 newsgroups of the 34,000 or so that of course aren't sick to death of this kind of crap already. I will have used 200 of the 34000 newsgroups currently in existence.
Available newsgroups: 33,800
Consumed newsgroups: 200
My position in list: 6th
So 10 people answer my answer my ad (a stupendously unrealistic proportion imo, but lets see where this leads). They post on 200 newsgroups each themselves, consuming another 2,000 newsgroups.
Available newsgroups: 31,800
Consumed newsgroups: 2,200
My position in list: 5th
So each of these 10 peeps has 10 people answer their ad, and each of those people go on to post on 200 newsgroups. That's 100 people posting on 200 newsgroups each, 20,000 newsgroups in total. Crikey.
Available newsgroups: 11,800
Consumed newsgroups: 22,200
My position in list: 4th
Each of those 100 people has 10 people reply to their ad, totalling 1000 new participants in the pyramid scheme. And of course, they have to post to 200 newsgroups each - another 200,000 newsgroups coming right up.

Consumed newsgroups: 222,200
My position in list: 3rd
And again, another 10 people reply per 200 newsgroups posted on. That's 10,000 new participants, who will post this on 2 million newsgroups between them. Lumme!

So lets see. For this scheme to work as you preach for even one person, the number of newsgroups in the world needs to go up from just under 34 thousand to over 22 million, a mere %64,000 increase. Pyramid schemes don't work mate - everyone knows that, you can't generate money out of thin air, you will consume all available money spectacularly rapidly, or at least the guys who started it will, which I wouldn't mind betting are you and 5 of your mates. The rest of the known Universe will just get £3 poorer and rapidly pi**ed off at the crap you constantly post all over everything they're trying to read.
So do us all a favour and **** off.

im not begging for anything. it doesnt bother me if no-one is interested. im just showing this to people. this one doesnt even effect me because none of the adsress are mine in this case. i was just letting people know about it, i wasnt begging for anything.
