It was because of his stupid feud with Beckham along with Le Clown in goal that cost us the game against Real Madrid. Becks scored 2 off the bench and had a big affect on the game when he came on. Who knows what would have happened if he'd been on from the start. Fergie lets his personal problems with problems affect the team, which in my opinion is not the sign of a good manager

Ferguson has been the clubs most successful manager ever hasn't he?

Over the years he has won every trophy going.

Sure, he never won the European Cup this year, but remember it isn't him that was on the pitch. The team just couldn't cut it. Not his fault. So he will go out and buy people, and sell some too.

You can't knock the guy.

They may have been made by Ferguson (although i don't share that opinion) but why should they also be destroyed by him as well? Unless i see some new faces at United by September i'll be calling once again for his sacking or resignation.

United were made my Ferguson - there's no point venting anger at him, over the years he has sold some of our biggest players and over the years the trophies have kept rolling in.

Key Signings:

Schimkes
Keane
Cantona
Ruud
Stam
Pallister
Bruce
Irwin

Many of them being bargins and I include Ruud in that statement.

Understatement of the day. His ongoing love affair with the 4-4-1-1 formation cost us the title last year. Only Kevin Keegan is worse when it comes to tactics

And signing Keane.
And a certain Danish goalkeeper, who wasn't a bad investment.

Regardless though, Ferguson is, always has been, and always will be a motivational manager. He's not necessaily the best tactician in the game, and he's not necessarily the most shrewd in the transfer market (that would be Wenger) but he does a very good job of motivating and developing the players he has. Admittedly he does this by intimidaton and discipline, but it works.

There's only ever been 2 decent things Fergie has done at United. One was signing Cantona and the other Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Everything else is all about the boom of youth that came through around 94/95. I refuse to call him a genius or a brilliant manager because he isn't.
