"Loud music + person = headache"

I have a neighbour across the road who is constantly playing this really loud music. It's got a lot of base and really gives me a headache, it wakes me up every morning, and on top of all that, it's really crap music.

anyone else have a similar problem?

I used to watch TV loud until their music had stopped. Then I carried on watching until my program had finished, so they might understand what it was like to try and get to sleep with serious noise going on.

Were they playing really weird dutch music? If they were you should have played some really quality US or UK music while they were sleeping to show them what it was like. Or record over there CD's with classical orchestra, or something like that...

I sahred with non-uni students for the last few months I was at uni. TOTAL NIGHTMARE! They would play music 'til 3AM then get up at 7AM and put on some more music. They were dutch and very strange. I'm pretty easy going on music, I like my music loud and play it frequently, but I said to them that it was either one or the other. Music at 7AM or music til 3AM but not both! They couldn't comprehend what they were doing wrong. It was like talking to tellytubbies or something.

WOW did'nt know people hated it so much, well i'm out of my crazy state, for now, and i'm talking about hard hitting stuff, i'm gonna make a thread about McDonalds animal cruelty. What do you think?

thats not to bad, but these people play low quality rap music, the rapper sings so fast you can't understand what he is saying, the base is also so loud, it makes it even harder, the only words I can hear, over and over are 'Show me the light, just show me the light' Maybe he thinks he's Jesus?

nirvana perhaps, I like all music really, but currently I'm going through an early 90s indy and dance phase.

It depends if the music is any good. What music do you play?

I like to blow my head apart listening to SOAD and Nirvana on my PC (full volume on good headphones, naturaly). Tribute by tenacious D is also really good.
