Today is Friday the 13th, ooh ain't it scary... almost.

Any superstitious people out there who beleive it is unlucky or anything.

Discuss if you like.

Ouch, I think I can guess, but what is a Tommy Tank?

since we're onto superstition, I believe that if you don't have a tommy tank regularly, you're sacks will explode

actually, they can be quite dangerous. You can buy special kits to dampen the effects of the radiation. They only cost a few quid and do a good job. Did you know that even after 3 days of being turned off, a normal tv is still sending magnetic signals across a room, that can interfere with your brain. (or at least, gives you headaches).

Since its wandered on to superstition:

I have this 'superstition' of keeping my mobile phone ends pointed away from me if I am near it. I never put it in my pocket and always carry it in a bag in the furthest pocket away from me.

I know they're slightly radioactive and this is why I do this.

I expect this is superstition because they can't be that dangerous.
