Lets have a poll vote on which next gen console everyone thinks is the best and should be crowned the king/queen of consoles:

Umm - Ant - have you ever experienced a DVD player other than the PS2 - it is SO not better than the £150 Alba DVD103. You fool!!!!!

it would have to be THe Gamecube coming from the longest running gaming company it's bound to be good and if its not i'll cry

I choose all four because they are alll made by respectable companies and they all have or will have great games on them

I loved the N64 so I'll go with Gamecube (even though I'm a bit dissapointed with it not being called the N65).

Well i will have to go with the PS2 :)

Anyway,

1. After the brilliance of the PSX, the PS2 will not fail, if it goes along the same line.

2. Believe it or not, Sony are a respectable, decent company. I'm pretty sure they won't muck it up any more than they already have.

3. THE BRILLIANT GAMES THAT ARE COMING OUT!! With games like GT3, Zone Of The Enders, MGS2 and loads more to come, everyone will be wanting a PS2!!

4. The consoles plays DVD. It is a better DVD than any DVD Player costing around £300 or less.

5. It plays PSX games.

6. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The PS2 has THE game. The best game ever, and the best for a long time to come. The PS2 has...Metal Gear Solid 2.

They'll claim they did all the work - saved all the gamers when in fact it was...who cares, this isn't going anywhere.

DREAMCAST - NOT DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!

Playstation 2

1. Already Out and Will be the only main Console on the Market.
2. A great arsenal of games by the time the competitors catch up.
3. Great Market Share, in terms of units sold and brand name!
4. Graphics are Good
5. Plays PSX games
6. Has more time to upgrade the console, ie Broadband, by the time tha GC and XB come out.
7. Has had the first pick of all the titles...ie, SSX.
8. Same Controller, Gamers Familiar with it.
9. Has already beaten Dreamcast, mind you, the NES could have done that...(Joke)
10. It is made by Sony.....oops....DISADVANTAGE!

The Game

Oh yeah... that Gameboy connection thing, and online gaming, which all consoles have anyway.
