This was on last night, C5, thought I'd give it a watch.

What a diabolical program ... who is that Westwood gimp trying to kid? He's some 30 odd year old skinny white bloke who thinks he's a 20 year old black rapper. He looks ridiculous, and the way he talks makes me laugh.

So much bent wrist, fling your arms about, 'bling' action and pointing at the camera when he talks. It was like some kind of wind up.

Seen the American version before, never really liked it though some of the cars turned out surprisingly well ... this was just ... wrong. And they pimped a 1.3 litre Nissan Sunny ... nnnnnice ...

Westwood's claim : "You now own the best looking Nissan Sunny in the world, man!!!"

Dreams really do come true ...

I remember seeing something about that in a newspaper, his car (A Cadilac 4x4 or something) ended up literally peppered with bullet holes down one side... not nice stuff, but it makes you wonder what he did to make someone try and turn him into a leaky piece of meat!

I've never really had the chance to watch either, though I did have the CART Precision Racing game years ago, which served as an introduction... I occasionally check up on results, but nothing more. Something tells me I should do some searching on my basic Sky subscription!

Or upgrade it.

It's quite exciting racing... glad I now have a channel to watch it on, as it looks like. You're guarunteed almost total chaos with 40-odd cars racing at 200 MpH around mostly oval tracks which qute often are lacking in run-off areas.

I'm hoping Channel 5 also decide to show IRL or Champcars too, as US Racing Series are great to watch, so often much more fast and furious than the Touring Cars, Forumla 1, GP2 etc that I'm used to.

Saw a great NASCAR clip the other week where i think two cars had crashed and one guy was still in his car then all of a sudden the other guy comes charging into view and dropkicks him right through the windshield

I decided to indulge in some great American TV earlier; NASCAR on Channel 5 US (Or whatever it's called). Who needs Gimp My Ride when you can have a load of crazy guys driving incredibly fast? :D

To be honest I don't think either show is all that hot. Too much gold ring shaking of hands, pointing at the camera action, bling bling respeck and all that nonsense. It's like hanging out at Mcdonalds car park on a friday night.

Prefer stuff like American Chopper ... yeah it's drowning in testosterone and well OTT, but I always have a good laugh at the boss/dad/owner giving endless amounts of grief to his son and co-workers.
