I'm not sure if it's classed as horror, but the Japanese film 'Tetsuo' is rather bizarre. When I say "rather bizarre" I mean down right bloody weird, which when seen when you're quite young is pretty scary.
If I remember correctly it's about a man whose body is being slowly taken over by scrap metal.
Having just read some user comments about it at the Internet Movie Database I might try and pick up a copy on DVD.
