Canada sounds good. I get the impression the visas aren't so straigtforward though. Long term at least.

yeah I must admit its not easy, but when you are set up with your own house, car, wife and 2.4 children in a decade or so, you'll be wishing you did it.

I don't know which country I'd choose. I favour canada, australia or any america though

The year in New Zealand sounds good.

Provided I could get a job there money wouldn't be a problem. I'd have enough to set myself up...
If I could get a job.

But for the 1 year visa you need to show access to some pretty heafty funds (to show you can support youself for a year if needs be). Only a few grand, but that's in addition to flights and is pleanty more than I can find.

save up for a real holiday abroad chief. I am definitely treating myself to one at some point this year. although I've got to go back to finish one module, it feels really weird not having to spend my evenings working. I've been at full time work since I finished for the summer, and I'm actually enjoying it. lets see how long that lasts

It'd be easier if I knew what change I'll be making.

Ah well, a holiday at home for a while could be nice.
Never had a summer properly 'off', worked instead. Time to put my feet up and collect my dole for a while :^)

obviously you'll be sad to leave, but a change is good for the soul.

Got to move out sunday.
I'll pack my clothes and computer tomorrow night. I think the rest is more or less done.

Friends are going out, but it'll wind up with a 'shirt, no trainers' place, and I can't be ashed.

Kind of a shame, as it's one of the last nights before people go their separate ways, but... *grumbles about basketball and laundry*

Maybe a film or something.
