I tried posting a message again (just like this one) I am not typing it any different to the one I tried to do in the original topic I posted about this problem!

It is still happening but here's the error message that keeps appearing:

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/httpd /html/discussions/ add_message_process .php on line 17

(Ignore the spaces I've added in the error message - I wasn't able to post this message with them not included)

(Plus the one which says not to use swearing and/or caps)

Does it matter what version of I-Explorer I use cos I'm using version 4 instead of 5 temporarily til I get a new I-explorer disk!

Nah. Open source software tends to live and grow rather more powerful. Take a look at Linux and you'll see that.

SonicRav if you dont know what you are talking about I suggest you shutup. Mac are doing better then Microsoft on the ratio of 4:1 worldwide. The iMacs internal chips run faster then most PC's. They support a range of software, and I cannot call the best home computer ever (voted by all major manufactures '99) a problem.

The new macs are even better, lets see the G4 cube. This has got o be used, it has DVD RAM and thats all I have to say on that matter, because I could go on for hours.

shhhh

There doing well... but used more as a Server/Workstation OS rather than a PC OS... remebering both that Windows is much more of a DOS than an OS... and that its Linux... Still... kinda miss Unix...

Ope source is always good... Shame Apple dont think the same way...

Phew... thats a long time... See Linux above...

But since IBM doesnt control the market...and the IBM has an open architecture (very anti-capitalism) surely this cant be a problem?

Buy a PC or join the Marxist movement... wow! Thats a marketing strategy I would have attributed more to Sony! :)

The iMac??? The most underpowered computer ever, that has been mocked by critics? You've never had problems... try getting a wide range of software? Try Apple going bust soon, meaning the end of all support?

Surely by that reasoning IE is just a repackaged Mosaic....

So what u're sayin is...

Don't get a PC... get a DC, but seeing as they won't have internet capabillities after next year, get a Mac... but they're going bust.

Got an MS Operating system. OK... so use the new MAC OS X... but macs are poorly supported. So get Linus... how many people here have the expertise to know what the hell they are doing!

Get Netscape... well, seeing as the netscape team went bust, and decided to p!ss off their buyers by putting all the codes they use on the web, this could be a good idea... but there's only so long that ameteurs will keep up the software... after all, so many people use IE5 that netscape will soon die out.

Basically, we live in a capitolised society. IBM based computers control the market. MS controls all software. The only other option is marxism.

no body in the world can explain this problem, but me not being a body (a i am 2) can explain what is wrong.

Firstly you purchased a PC

Secondly you purchased a MICROSOFT operating system.

Thirdly you started to use Internet Explorer

To correct all these mistakes just get Netscape! its free and the newest version is SWEEETT!
