"RAW vs SMACKDOWN"

Which show do you think is the best, at the moment. RAW or Smackdown? You have to take into account the wrestlers, the script/story, the feuds, commentators and the GM's.

At the moment I prefer RAW because it has better wrestlers, which means better feuds, it also has better commentators which make the show more enjoyable if you are watching at home and of course Stone Cold is the best GM ever!

Well I really can't disagree/agree with you Cong Man, since I didn't watch WWE back then, just used to have the channel WCW came on, good ol' TNT

Yup.

So your saying, cong man, that Triple H was at the peak of his wrestling career before he tore his quad?

Heyman was demoted to a storyline consulant because of his constant quarrels with Vince. Smackdown has Vince's fingerprints all over it and Raw has Triple H's fingerprints all over it. And they claim to be listening to what the fans want?

Why did he leave in the first place?

Anyone know where Paul Heyman has gone?

Hopefully they'll do a DECENT storyline where he brings back WCW again.

Would love to see how WWE would control Nitro.

Smackdown was better when Paul Heyman was the head writer, but since then it's been non-stop Mr America.

Smackdown has turned into a boring, McMahon-ridden joyless 2-hour show, whereas RAW is beginning to improve (and it should be considering the roster it boasts).

This proves it. Smackdown has Piper's Pit hosted by Roddy Piper, whose special guest is usually Mr America.

RAW has the Hi-Lite Reel hosted by Chris Jericho, probably RAW's best overall worker, and tonight's guest is Goldberg. Incidentally, this has nothing to do with any McMahons or a stupid bloody mask, but it was Y2J himself who got Lance Storm to try and run down Goldberg last week - should be brutal.

I think RAW is the stronger of the shows. I want to prefer Smackdown, but can't stand A-Train or Big Show. So, I go for RAW.

SmackDown is better. By far.

I'll give you some reasons when I get back. Off to play football.

I've stopped watching Smackdown all together now. There's not enough decent wrestlers on the show, it has Michael Cole on it boring everyone (for god sakes Vince bring in Joey Styles will you?) and it also has stupid storylines like Mr America and someone getting their wooden leg pulled off. That ranks up there with the necrophilia angle as the stupidest thing ever on WWE tv.


Raw has tons of my favourite wrestlers, Stone Cold as GM and Lawler can be really funny at times (my favourite over the past few weeks being the
*JR is going to have one hell of a CV when this is all over. He's been hired and fired about 16 times now*
Raw is far more entertaining if only they'd shove HHH and that stupid french team on smackdown and bring Angle, Rey Mysterio and Benoit on RAW it'd be perfect
