"Your Music tastes"

What are they??? Mine are Techno, Trance, House, Hard House and all the in-betweens.

I used to DJ part time, and I made my own songs, and I worked with someone who now works full-time as part of Genius Cru, who are now big-time in the garage music scene.

It isn't as un-skilful as you think. The sounds, we had to hire real musicians for. Then we stick it on the computer, fiddle around with it, put it together with similar sounds, and make a song, ready to be played on the decks. It isn't as skilful as playing a guitar solo at a huge rock band's concert, no, but it is by no means void of skill either.

I'm not even going to start as it's not even worth the time. For someone that went on about not following the crowd it's a little bit on the hypocritical side I do believe. People listen to different music and have different opinions ( I'm having trouble with simple words as of late for some reason) on it. That's all I have to say. Most people will guess as to how I feel about the comments but like I said earlier I'm not even going to start a rant.

because it sells. But I agree on the pressing keys bit. All that sort of music is made by sell-outs who are scared of the effort it takes to learn a proper instrument so they buy a computer to do it all for them. The result is crap though.

And I don't respect musicians who simply press a few keys and get:

Um, um, um, um, um, um, um, umum, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, umum (x50) and get a "song".

Bleh, why do record companies even release this crap?

I made a really long rant, but when I posted, it said I had to delete the word "s**t" and when I went back, it was gone. So in short, I am not a Goth (Goths wear chains, not Rockers), most of my friends like "mixed s**t" or "popular" music, so I'm not a follower. No, but you ask people what kind of music they like, then when it doesn't agree with your tastes you dismiss them as following a trend or just insult the music... very mature...

I don't know what genres are what nowdays but the Stone Roses seemed to give the best of all worlds.

In my opinion anyways.
