This is a similar problem that the PS2 is facing at the moment.
As many owners will be aware, since the end of november there has been a lack of new releases. They are coming, but they're few and far between. I for one, only own 3 games and all were launch titles...
Some publishers are actually holding back 'finished' games due to the lack of sales on existing software. Because there aren't many PS2 consoles about (most places only have 2 or 3) not many people in the UK own one and because there are so few consoles in peoples homes, then software sales are low.
However many people are waiting for a 'killer ap' to persuade them to buy a PS2, and if these don't appear then console sales will be low.
So which is first? - More games released to persuade people to buy PS2's or more people buying PS2's to persuade publishers to release more games?
I have no doubt that with PS2 owners there is a massive demand for more quality titles, but overall demand is pretty low. I think it's up to the publishers to put AAA titles into the market place to create that damand that they require!
So come on everyone - Release the games were all waiting for!

I believe meka_dragon stated the answer to that one earlier. I, and many others agree.

> No problem. Its just that I`m learning that on this site, if you need a quetion answered, ask meka_dragon or Wookiee Monster. If not, Flying Pig and others like him often know what they`re talking about.
Thanks ssxpro!
That will render then 'virtually' armless... ;-p
Okay, okay... I'm going.
"Its not wise to upset a Wookiee"
Might set up another alias - Wookiee the Oracle or something like that - just for answering questions. :-)

meka - maybe we should start charging for the service? :-)
I think so.
We'll charge on a sliding scale. When a question needs answered, but they only have a little money we'll respond with outright lies, a little more money, and you'll get jokes.
For true, fact based answers, in a well written style and presented nicely, well that's going cost you!
