"Strange"

Hey, they just advertised Strange on BBC1. I'd almost forgotton about the pilot for this series, shown last year to gage interest in the show, but it seems they realised that supernatural sells again.

It's nice to see the BBC taking chances on a series about demons and strange phenomena and it certainly looks promising. Watch out for it soon.

Taken was a bit slow at points, but was ok overall. Not spectacular, but not bad telly.

Currently, all these are American made programmes though, British Sci-fi tends to be a lot more story based and less flashy. Ultraviolet was one example of British sci-fi that I have been impressed by in the recent past (and we're talking a few years ago now).

So really it's good that the Beeb are trying to revive British interests, when we get things right they really are good and usually thought provoking.

I've still never seen 24 - despite how good so-many people keep telling me it is!

It's still good to see Buffy on there, every Thursday evening. And I've even gotten into The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (for some reason?!), all thanks to BBC 2.

And did you ever see Steven Spielberg's 'Taken' series, also on '2?
I though that was good.

And - of course - The Simpsons. ...Even if they are all repeats.


BBC 1's only good for the local-news, now!
That, and the odd Match of the Day special.

The only decent thing BBC has on these days is 24. Its without a doubt the greatest drama production I have ever seen and I can't wait for the DVD box set to come out. I aren't really into the paranormal and although I stuck through Taken I didn't really enjoy it at all.
