Seriously.

Black Glove - Probably the only Regular worthy of Notable status, Yet all you addle-brained schlemiels are considering a range of meatheads, from dribbling randomisers from Chat - who amuse themselves by making up words, and endlessly supporting each other, to over-hyperlating drama queens who find it necessary to discuss the days events with complete strangers who couldn’t give a damn, and would rather drool over the new word they have created…

Sure there are other 'decent' people on the forums, but none who contribute on the perfect balance - no drivelling nonsense, but can have a laugh, whilst creating dark, sinister tales.

You shouldn't be making your mind up, when it should already be made up.

Vote Black Glove... Or he will slit your throat, and skin you like a cat :)

Probably. Rosalind has written some cool stories, and I suppose she is the best all-rounder [if you know what I mean].

Contradiction? D'you scribble obscene poetry on walls or something? ;)

So you will most likely go for someone that posts interesting stories?

I have seen a few people posting worthwhile reading material, story wise, but other then that I never see them. So I have decided to go for someone I see a fair bit and posts intelligent posts, I haven’t seen her write any stories though, the occasional poem, but I’m not a huge fan of poetry even though I am a published poet myself :D

I was just getting round to saying thanks to you E_B :)
I just thought I'd better thank Sfone first. So, er, thanks. Kind words indeed.

Sure, I'll be voting, but for who exactly, I've not decided yet.... I'm just trying to work-out whose posts I look forward to reading most.

What about thanks for the kind words?

I like being thanked. Anyway, are you yourself going to vote?

Hmmm, what's all this.
Thanks the support Sfone.

All I can say is I take these forums seriously in a light/dark-hearted manner, and if you think I deserve a vote then vote for me. If you don't, then er, don't.

From what I've seen/read, there's a lot of Regulars who are excellent posters and contributers who deserve Notable status - but in the end it doesn't really matter, but I will be voting for someone who I personally like the most, regardless of how the vote is panning-out.

Again, thanks Sfone.

Well, the obvious choice would be Black Glove, but I shall wait far into the elections, so my vote makes a difference to the outcome :)

I'm off now,

Yep, I think I would agree with that. I can't see that Black Glove will be leaving, but perhaps he is a little too "new".

Well everyone knows I'm going for Ros. Who are you actually voting for?

English_Bloke, I whole-heartedly agree with your overview of the first three. Each equally deserving the status. I believe Black Glove could benefit from remaining with his regular status (Contradiction my Arsé), just to see how dedicated to the forums he is; Ros, and (Ye Olde) FFF Definately deserve a pop at notability. As for El Blokey... Old people are funny, yet I do not applaud them, and Hitler was mildly aggressive - but his power was not deserved... ;)

I think that (if you’re going to take this election seriously), very few people are actually “worthy” of the status. Here are a few I think are, and why.

1. Ros: she posts thought provoking topics, spends a fair amount of time here and replies in lots of threads (posting useful replies). She is friendly and an asset of the forum.

2. Black Glove: not only a talented writer himself, but also takes the time to read just about every story that is posted on the forum, and gives useful feedback on them. He’s witty but doesn’t discriminate just because someone is a “noob”, so he doesn’t insult someone for no reason.

3. FFF: for the reasons Memorandum said, but I don’t necessarily think he is “better” then Black Glove.

4. El Blokey: just for the fact he makes me laugh, he is perhaps a little aggressive at times.
