Just PHP in general then.

Well, I'm not sure of any online tutorials, but no doubt google.com will find some good ones.

I used a book myself 'Sams teach yourself PHP in 24 hours'.

You obviously think what I used to think...

PHP just integrates into the page, you write a HTML page and use snippets of PHP around the page to give it special features like users online.

http://www.upminsterfc.com/mainpage.php

That's the stuff I've been working on recently, although 90% of it doesn't work!

The page is written in HTML with tags around it, I just use the same template for each page and change the php include so that it includes more stuff.

www.webmonkey.com is where I learnt the basics, then just read through that PHP help topic and you can learn some helpful stuff from there...

Once you get the hang of the stuff it becomes a lot easier to understand, it's just quite confusing trying to write your own code from scratch.

There's one thing I love about PHP though.

When things work they work excellently. Although when things go wrong, it's a complete disaster!

Stupid email thingy...
