"What is the best alien film?"

After a discussion with Whitestripes i wondered what you thought was the best alien film of the series.

I would rank them;

1.Aliens
2.Alien
3.Alien Resurrection
4.Alien 3

With 1 being best.

Yep, that's right.

Anyway -

Aliens
Alien
Alien Resurrection
Alien 3

Apparantly Alien 3 had an amazing script, but the producers stepped in and messed everything up. One of them wanted the alien to come out of a COW! If they came up with that crap, you can see why the film was so bad.

The original script is the best un-made film in history according to some. But the producers and executive producers meddled too much. Happens a lot in Hollywood.

The final scene in Alien 3 had some information I didn't understandin the last scene. Can anyone explain it?

I've been questioning this... question since I saw the movie. The only time the queen alien came close to their ship was when she was detatched from her "egg tube", making it impossible for her to lay eggs...

Maybe one of the drones moved an egg to the dropship when it was waiting for Ripley to come back? A long shot though...

Like the majority, my favourite of the lot is Aliens because it seriously kicks butt, closely followed by the original.

There's still rumours of Ridley Scott directing/over seeing a new Alien film. Could be very good if they keep it similar to the first two.

sorry, its still worth watching though

1) aliens (just so damn good)
2) alien (original, tense, just brilliant)
3) alien 3 (I liked the ending)
4) alien resurrection (I felt sorry for the Alien at the end, it had a puppy dog look on it's face for crying out loud)
