You expect depth from ONE episode? Put all of them together and you'll get depth.
It had no depth. But it did have guns:)
How can you hate something like that? Very short, looks amazing, does what it says on the tin, has action, acrobatics and gun play (with the sentinels)

I HATED the Animatrix. Really hated it.
I thought it was really good, and the animation and graphics were superb. If only the digital stuntmen from Spiderman (yes, Mystique, I said Spiderman) and Blade 2 could've looked that good.

I personally didn't think that much of the Animatrix last night. The start wasn't bad but the rest was a little so-so. I think I found it a little short to honest.
On another note I migh be going to see it today, if I feel a little better. My friend sent me his review of it. "The new matrix is great". Simple but effective.
