I recently got a lot of vouchers from Amazon Uk and thinking of buying a DVD boxset, I was thinking either Sopranos series 1, 2 or 3, Bad Girls, (yes laugh if you want it is a good series) or Angel series 1,2, or 3 (heard the spin off is much better than Buffy). Can you guys give me some recommendations if you have any of the boxsets? Thanks.

The 24 Box Set is essential. The Die Hard 1 + 2 Box Set is VERY impressive and at one time there was a £50 Matrix Box Set with lots of goodies included.

Die Hard, Back To The Future boxsets etc there great films but I have seen them so may times I don't feel the need to buy them on DVD. Stryke you recommend Angel boxset? I liked Buffy series but they tend to get worse each season and up to the point that I don't watch it because it is boring and the writer (creatator) of the show is obviously running out of ideas I stopped watching the show at season 5. I want to get a boxset of a series I haven't seen so Angel or Sopranos DVDs I will probably get thanks for the recommendations.

No way, Angel is much darker than Buffy. Well, except Buffy Season 6. The first season was pretty class, with the Faith crossover. To Shanshu In L.A is one of my all-time favourite Angel eps.

Futurama. Funniest thing I've seen. Angel is much like Buffy, the first season didn't really get going though, but you need to see them in order as they tend to be more linked characterwise than Buffy is.

Everyone is waiting for Indiana Jones box set as it looks to be fantastic and the Aliens box set is great too, but there are rumours of the Aliens Quad boxset being even better with more unseen footage from Alien and also a complete reworking of Alien3 to make it a whole lot better. The original Alien box set is still worth getting though.

The Prisoner box set is fantasticly wierd if you like that kind of thing and The Beatles Anthology is cool if you're a fan too.

gerrid's (no capital) suggestions are alright, although theres a Taken boxset, or a Red Dwarf series. Depends what you like really.

You could always purchase a film trilogy or something:

Back To The Future Boxset
Die Hard Boxset
Hannibal Lecter Boxset
Indiana Jones Boxset
etc...
