Recently it was in the papers that David Hyde-Pierce, Niles from Frasier, had confirmed that the next series of Frasier will be the last. Apparently all the cast had been told it was to end and that they were all sorry to see it end.

Now I have been a Frasier fan since it began all those years ago. It is my favourite ever programme, and by far the best comedy in my opinion on TV.

Some people say that it has begun to run out of steam and that there are no new ideas. Perhaps they are right. The earlier episodes were better. But even so I think the current series is very funny and every episode of Frasier has made me laugh. there has never been one that I can say was not worth watching.

Now there is a website www.savemyshow.com that allows people to vote on whether or not a show should be on the air or not.

I have voted, along with a few thousand other people.

What I would like is for people to post here and show support for it. I think there is plenty of life left in the series and there is a lot of scope for new ideas. If enough people do show that they like Frasier then maybe, just maybe it will go on a bit longer.
Thanks for reading. And hopefully posting.

Cheers was good. I don't dismiss Buffy as a teen drama, I just don't like it. And of all my close friends, no one else does. Maybe its a geographical thing.

Man Frasier has to be one of the lamest comidies to come out, It ain't even funny I hate it when are TV screens are full of US BS like Will and Grace for example another crappy comedy. Don't get me wrong I love comedies, I just don't find the US ones very funny, because Americans have a different sence of homour to us, Ground For Life is funny comedy + Friends is OK kind of getting old now though.

I don't find it funny. Cheers was bad enough without a spin-off.

But you can't dismiss Buffy as a teen dramedy, because it's not.

Not sure who you are mocking. Frasier has 21 Emmys.

And Buffy is rubbish, the best bit being the theme tune and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Yeah, you do that! Don't worry, EastEnders is still on!

Buffy is the best TV program around.

Gunn has the most potential for Season 5, if you ask me. It's pretty obvious he's the new White Room Guy, with Ra-Tet type powers. Will he get corrupted? There's the possibility of making him the equivalent of DarkWillow. Gunn's always been my favourite character - all the witty lines of Xander plus he's cool, be good to give him a character arc. Connor just irks me, I hope him and his new family get accidentally killed by Angel going joy-riding in the Plymouth or something.
