"As much as I like food..."

...I can't stand the sound of people eating. To me it is on of the most vile sounds you could ever hear, it makes me wince and cringe at the same time. The worst is at the cinema, during the quiet bits, when you're surrounded by people chomping without remorse on crunchy popcorn with their mouths open so that it echoes. *shudders* I HATE IT!!! And why can't they put sweets and stuff in polythene bags at the cinema - that way they won't rustle.

Maybe you should find some new people to eat with? You must be with a crowd of people who eat with their mouths open or something vile like that so my advice is get away from them to a more ehem polite group. If you can't though then buy earplugs or feed the intravenisly...if that's how you spell it:S

Chomp, chew, crunch, munch, slurp, suck, knaw, grind, champ, gulp, scrunch, belch.... ahhhh.

I also dislike the sound of people eating. The worst is my Auntie, she eats with her mouth open and then sits there and makes a sucking nose to get all the little bits out from between her teeth. I have to leave the room it so loud.

I always try to eat quietly, especially at the cinema. Some people are just oblivious/stupid/idle/moronic. Take your pick.

I chew gum all the time, but i have the courtesy to keep my mouth closed. I also dislike hearing people eat, especially if it is some greasy piece of chicken or something, or even worse a sandwhich with mayonnaise, and the mayonnaise gets caught in the corners of their mouths.

yes, the sound of people eating is vile.


I've gorwn to have a massive hate of chewing-gum as well. Classmates use it as some sort of fashion statement, and have to show everyone that they're chewing on the stuff by opening their mouths. Every time they feal like chewing.

One of these days I will slap someone so hard the gum is going to fly straight out of their mouths.

I hate listening to people eating pork scratchings. Gotta be almost the worst food you can hear being eaten.. For me, anyway.

Neither can I but worst than that is seeing someone eating with their mouth open or even talking with their mouth full. Totally yuck.
