robocop 1 was great
robocop 2 was reasonable
robocop 3 was a huge steaming pile of garbage.

And, Snuggly, ED2 isn't a remake. They had to reshoot stuff since they couldn't get the rights (ironic that they actually made the film) and couldn't get the same actors. Remember how Evil Dead ended with Ash leaving the cabin and getting smacked by the evil thing? Evil Dead 2 officially starts when that happens, I dunno, maybe 10/20 minutes into it, you know, when he comes to in the forest and turns into a deadite? That's the real start, the rest was just explaining what happened (albeit wrongly)

If they hadn't have made Alien Resurrection then Aliens would have been #1. Because i can't vote for that i'd have to go with The Evil Dead.
