Sorry, I'm going to have to vote for back to the future as my personal favorite trilogy.

Funnily enough, I'm just off to watch Army of Darkness now (wasn't ED2 just a remake of ED1? Does that count in trilogy rules?)

Hmm, without picking the obvious Star Wars, I think I'll go with the Indiana Jones trilogy.

ED1 was trying to be pure horror, ED2 was half horror half comedy (best one if you ask me), and ED3 was pure comedy

Did Jim Carrey just rip off Bruce Campbells overacting? there's a similarity there.....
