Foreword: Totally pointless story loosely based around me...

Today I was in RE (my favourite less, naturally) and we were doing group work (joy!). I was sat there talking and cracking my knucles as I often do and I felt a wierd tingling and my right ring finger was just hanging odly and I couldnt move it. My mate who is a big time sports dude said it was dislocated and I would have to put it back in. Who'd have thought pushing a knuckle back into a joint would be so tough! It took me like 10 minutes and it is fine now (bit bruised).

Both of my ring fingers are crappy, the other one is the one that has metal screws in from a rugby accident, maybe I could have them replaced with grappling hooks or something useful!

Yup.

You could kill yourself doing so.

I hate morphine, I took it when I was having the metal screws in my finger but you go on such a downer after it, its terrible.

Or done permanent muscle damage, ideally you take a shot of morphine while getting popped back in.

Or after breakings either, I broke a few of my fingers in the past and they are totally bent and when I am old I will probably have real problems with them. Nothing I can do though.

A joint is never the same after there's been dislocation.
