PKZip will do that for you in a pinch
Am I viewing the wrong version??
ok, option two:
Does anyone know of direct Cable connection on Windows??
I've atteempted to set up a parallel - parallel connection between the old machine (Windows 98) and the new (Windows XP) to just cop the files I wish to keep over.
Both connect ok, and set up a little network, and I've selected which folder on the old computer to allow XP to view and copy, but I am unable to locate this folder on the XP machine anywhere, so I'm unable to select which files to grab from the old machine.
Could anyone esplain to me what I have to do to send/copy files from the old machine to the new, when the parallel2parallel is working ok??
Thanks :)
Is it just part of the normal WinZip program?
hjsplit will do that.
Just pick the file you want to split and the size you want each chunk to be then use hjsplit again to join it.
