No, like WE had a depleted team and beat you where it counts - in the premiership 2-0 with Phil Neville receiving man of the match after dominated the midfield against Viera! :-P

You don't seem to understand the concept of winning the league.

Every 'champions elect' will go through poor form (even if your stupid manager thinks you could go unbeaten) it's how you work around and dig out results that matters - I admit that we had a poor first season, but indtead of moaning about it we decided to get everyone fit and ready for after xmas, which we did and knuckled down whilst Arsenal were still on their high horses oozing with cockyness, it came down to the file 10 or so games - when it mattered and we needed to win WE DID - YOU DIDN'T.

Hence United - CHAMPIONS.

Comprende?

sod knows. No matter how good a team is, they will always lose a game or two a season. Just look at the 5-1 thumping Real Madrid got at the weekend.

But the league is decided over 38 games, not a one-off game.

Yeah, but when you take 6 points from Newcastle and Liverpool, and 4 from Arsenal and Chelsea, you can afford to drop a few against the poorer sides.

It is ALWAYS the team that takes the most points against the other sides in the top 5 that wins the league. So how many points did Arsenal take from the rest of the top 5?

Other teams have desire to stay up you know. But when Bolton beat you they didn't have to worry about going down, so where was your desire?

Second best is better than NOTHING AT ALL, lads, you must realise that.

And yes, Arsenal have had a recent lack of form, but this is due to the unforunate, unlucky timing of injuries and undeserved red cards, leading to Man Utd seizing the opportunity having the satisfaction of a full strength team - something you didn't have at the start of the season, and something we did have, explaining the gap of points at that time.

However, when you say we failed to beat a relegation struggling team, at least we didn't-
1) Lose to Bolton AT HOME
2) Scrounge a last minute equaliser, like Manure always do.

I also seem to recall you inly just managing victory over Sunderland...at home.

Look at all these Man U fans popping up now that they've won the league, and look at the shortage of Arsenal supporters due to not doing the above.
